Struggling to untangle the cables, she cursed the evil elf (or careless human) undoubtedly responsible.
Sharp comic point about natures, and the consonance especially is excellent. The suggestion of depth in time and even landscape with the reflection on culprit is well done too, and sets up a clear backdrop despite all the blanks there have to be with so few words. The participles are our good friends in a challenge like this, but to get one to really fit as you do here is still tough.
